We profiled democratic design fabricator StyleFactory when they debuted lighting by Shiner, and are excited to show you the newest selections that have been chosen by actual customers.

StyleFactory functions as an interesting experiment in production whereby design objects compete for online votes. The company will create a product if it receives a lot of interest from users, and preference is always given to ecologically-friendly proposals.

Some current items:

1. Swell Magazine Rack
Inspired by mid-century modern bentwood designs, this piece by Chris Burton is wall-mounted and keeps magazine titles exposed.

2. View-Master Pillow
Mimia Johnson's Retro-Tech pillows make a comment about the retrospective cuteness of obsolete technologies.

3. Flipo Clock
This unique clock by Martin Konrad Gloeckle can be placed in several positions and still tell time accurately.

4. Large Bend Dish (Zebrawood)
Good-looking pet accessories for the home can be hard to find, but Maya Khaira's dog bowl station uses elegant materials in a sleek shape.

5. Chameleon Lamp
You can change out the many surface designs on this fun lamp according to your mood.

For more StyleFactory, check out the ICFF satellite event at the Bobby Berk showroom in Soho. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on design submissions in person.
