The Best Seat In The House: Luxe Hi-Tech Toilets

It took a little awhile for companies to start noticing that some people will actually pay more than $5000 for a toilet. But what can that kind of money buy you these days for something normally considered a necessity, and not usually a luxury? Apparently more than your backside ever knew...

Kohler Numi
This is the transformer of toilets! The Numi starts at a startling $6,390, and comes standard with an LCD touchscreen display and built-in bidet functionality. A deodorizer is also included as it is the motion activated lid and seat. Even a music player to help you relax while you are doing your business (it's the least they could do at this price). You can warm your feet just with the touch of a button and an integrated air dryer will eliminate the use of toilet paper, something you might appreciate after spending nearly $6,400 on a toilet.

Toto Neorest 600
With a price tag of $5,680, the Toto is amusingly at the bottom of the price range amongst this esteemed list of flusher. Using low water consumption and automatic lid opening for the germophobics, it also features auto flush a remote control and even adjustable heated seat with oscillating and pulsating water jet options. Using the proprietary Cyclone Jet flushing system, it creates a water slide effect inside the bowl, instead of the typical water fall on regular, more mundane toilets. This is a water saving feature that is more efficient while also less noisy.

Inax Regio
Prices at $7,350, the Regio is most expensive of the bunch. With the now standard automated lid opening system which are controlled by sensors and activated upon approach. So you feel like you're getting your money's worth, the Regio automatically plays music, flushes and closes the lid when you're finished, responding intuitively to your presence or departure. It also has silent dual flushing mode and two self cleaning wands with warm air dryer and the built-in deodorizer, so once again, you won't need to use as much toilet paper.
