Giving Kids the Best Seat in the House

Giving Kids the Best Seat in the House

Kids usually don't get the best real estate in the house. The smallest room oftentimes is the nursery. The playroom usually is in the basement. But if you have some space to spare, consider giving your kids the best seat in the house.

We are loving this childrens' table and chairs set placed in front of this large and lovely window. It will probably come as no surprise that this is Joel Henriques' house (of Made by Joel). It's a great spot for eating meals, having a tea party and doing art projects. The window lets in beautiful natural light and provides an ever changing scenery of nature and people. This is probably prime real estate in his home but he's dedicated it to the children and we think it's a great idea. If you want to see more photos of Joel's inviting home, check out Design Sponge.
